As the first national 3A‑level industrial‑tourism scenic‑spot in Henan cement industry and a provincial‑level green‑mine demonstration enterprise, the company has been continuously carrying out ultra‑low‑emission renovation and green‑upgrading of plant‑wide facilities. As a key environmental‑protection upgrading project, this enclosed‑yard renovation fully covers open‑air stock‑piles of limestone, coal, clinker and other raw‑materials. A large‑span arched bolt‑ball space‑grid shelter is adopted to create a huge column‑free inner‑space for unobstructed operation of stacker‑reclaimer and heavy‑loading machinery. The fully‑enclosed structure restrains fugitive‑dust emission during material‑stocking and loading‑unloading, supporting the enterprise to achieve green‑mine construction targets.
The raw‑material shelter features a wide span and massive steel members. Major construction challenges cover precision‑control of ground block‑assembly, integral lifting of steel grid, support settlement monitoring and deformation management during arch‑structure unloading. High‑concentration dust and corrosive particles in cement‑production area may erode grid members, bolt‑ball joints and support bases. A comprehensive anti‑corrosion solution with hot‑dip‑galvanization plus finish‑coat painting is applied to enhance steel‑structure durability against dust corrosion. Structural mechanical‑checking is completed according to wind‑snow load and temperature‑difference conditions of northern‑Henan. BIM simulation is carried out to predict stress‑deformation risks during hoisting, lifting and unloading, ensuring long‑term safe‑operation of the large‑span shelter.
We undertook the large‑span space‑grid construction of enclosed raw‑material yard, covering detailed design of arched space‑grid, factory prefabrication of steel bars and bolt‑ball components, hot‑dip‑galvanized anti‑corrosion coating, ground block assembly, integral grid lifting, support installation and final unloading construction. Strict quality‑control and real‑time deformation‑monitoring were implemented throughout grid‑lifting process. We delivered high‑quality steel‑structure works for dust‑control shelter and contributed to eco‑friendly upgrading of Pingyuan Tongli Cement production base.
