As a high‑rise coastal commercial‑complex curtain‑wall‑project, it features large vertical‑height and massive facade‑grids. Major construction‑challenges include high‑altitude positioning of curtain‑wall keels, alignment‑calibration of extra‑long vertical‑members, corner‑joint finishing, waterproof‑sealing for roof‑facade‑transition zones and integrated‑installation of lightning‑protection‑system. Situated on Yellow‑Sea coastline with perennial salt‑spray‑erosion, frequent summer‑typhoons and heavy‑rainstorms, the curtain‑wall and steel‑structure are specially calculated for wind‑resistance, water‑tightness and air‑tightness according to coastal high‑rise‑building‑codes of Jiangsu‑Province. Hot‑dip‑galvanization plus extra salt‑spray‑resistant coating is applied to curtain‑wall keels and auxiliary‑steel‑members against coastal‑chloride‑corrosion. LOW‑E insulated‑glass provides excellent heat‑insulation, noise‑reduction and daylighting‑performance to guarantee long‑term‑safe‑operation of high‑rise facade.
